About Us

Rice Mock Trial is Rice University's fully student-run mock trial program. Rice Mock Trial was founded in the Fall of 2017, and has grown to include 3 teams and over 20 members. Despite being one of the youngest teams in the country, Rice Mock Trial is consistently competitive at tournaments, earning bids to the Opening Round Championship Series in all but one year of its existence.

In the coming season, Rice Mock Trial is aiming to make its debut appearance in the National Championship while continuing to develop the skills of its members as they transition from online to in-person competition.
